A trademark class finder is a tool used to identify the appropriate class or classes under which a trademark should be registered. The classification system used globally is the Nice Classification, which categorizes goods and services into 45 different classes.
A trademark hearing is a formal proceeding conducted by the trademark office to resolve issues or objections raised during the trademark application process. This hearing provides the applicant an opportunity to present arguments and evidence in support of their trademark application.
At the national/regional level, trademark protection can be obtained through registration, by filing an application for registration with the national/regional trademark office and paying the required fees. At the international level, you have two options: either you can file a trademark application with the trademark office of each country in which you are seeking protection, or you can use WIPO’s Madrid System.
